Improving the PDF export for submissions
The export to PDF for submissions in RSForm! Pro is generated via the TCPDF library. In order to improve the functionality of the PDF export(to better style the PDF file that is generated) the library will have to updated. To do so, you will need to follow this steps:
- Go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/tcpdf/files/ and download the TCPDF zip package from there.
- Unzip the package to /libraries in your Joomla! installation root folder and the library will be updated.
This way many improvements will be added to the library and you will be able to better style the PDF export file of the submissions in RSForm! Pro.
Note:
- The TCPDF update package is not included in the standard RSForm! Pro installation package because it is a large package, having around 12 MB. Given the large size of the package, it should be uploaded on your site via FTP.
- The update to the library should be made only if you are using Joomla! 2.5, as the library may not be compatible with other versions of Joomla!.
