With the new GDPR legislation coming into effect starting with the 25th of May, we decided to provide a list of how each component records personal information and how we updated each one to align with the new standards.

In one of our previous posts we provided an easy tutorial on how to implement the GDPR standards in your RSForm!Pro forms. One of the most common questions regarding our post was the possibility to achieve GDPR compliance without having the user create an account, login on your site. In this article we will provide the steps required for this scenario.

1. What is GDPR?

Let's start with the beginning, GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. As the name implies this is related to the user data recorded by websites when someone navigates or uses their services. The purpose of the GDPR is to improve data privacy and also the way companies/businesses approach or plan this matter.
