Performing a New Installation / Update

Installing / updating the RSContact! module is done in the same manner as with any Joomla! extension, you will first need to download the installation package (for free) from our website, next:

  • Joomla! administration login

1. Login into the backend;

  • Joomla! extension manager

2. On the top menu, select Extensions > Manage > Install;

  • Joomla! upload file

3. Click Browse (or Drag and Drop the file) and select the zip file you downloaded;

  • Successful installation

4. If the installation was successful, you should see this message;

  • Access RSContact! module through Extensions > Modules area

5. You can now access RSContact! through the Extensions > Modules area.

If the installation produces any errors, check if:
  • The archive you were trying to upload is not corrupted
  • The archive is being correctly uploaded to your webserver
  • The /modules folder's permissions are set to 755.
