Cron Rules

The Cron Rules tab will allow you to add permissions for folders and files. This is useful if you're adding files through FTP and you want to apply permissions through the component. This works only for new files, not existing ones.

  • Download method: File download / Email download

Important:

This will not apply on sub-folders. If you want it applied on sub-folders as well, you'll have to create a Cron Rule for that particular sub-folder.
If you've used the "Synchronize files" feature, the files database entries will be created and the Cron Rules only works for new files not yet synchronized.

Log tab

The Log tab displays a list with files / folders added in the folder setup above, using this Cron rule.
