RSJoomla! debuts RSJuno!, our first template release. RSJuno! is Joomla! 2.5 and 3.x compatible, as well as fully-responsive and fully-configurable.
The looks
The most important part of a template is, naturally, the way it looks in the frontend. RSJuno!'s look was intended to be fresh, simple and clean, one of the main focuses being to have easily distinguishable, non-crowded elements. The template also provides a large number of predefined color schemes (selectable in the backend) that should satisfy most users, you can have a look at some of them in the gallery below:
Frontend module positions
Like any Joomla! template, RSJuno! includes a fair number of usable module positions. Some of them have a general purpose, like column-left and column-right, whereas others are destined for a more limited use, like main-menu and breadcrumbs (both are self-explanatory), top a, b and c (better suited for the website's logo, the login and language switcher modules) and content (suitable for the website's content).
You can view a full map of the module positions in the image to the right.
The RSMediaGallery! Responsive Slideshow Module
Since the new template is fully responsive, we decided that we should adapt the RSMediaGallery! Advanced Slideshow Module so that it fits perfectly with RSJuno!, by implementing Bootstrap capabilities. We have also added the slideshow module position which was specially designed to work with the RSMediaGallery! Responsive Slideshow Module.
Backend settings
The configuration options are split into 4 tabs, Basic Options, Advanced Options, Logo Options and Social Links Options.
- In the Basic Options tab you can select the color scheme, whether to display the scroll to top button or not and enable or disable the Main Menu effects.
- The Advanced Options tab provides some customization options for developers, like the possibility to disable Bootstrap and jQuery and specifying extra CSS selectors for the template's Google Font.
- The Logo Options tab includes a number of customization settings for the website's logo. You can specify the logo's position (using the aforementioned top-a, b and c module positions), choose whether to have it displayed as an image, in which case you need to specify the path to that image, or as text, in which case you can specify the text to be displayed and it's color. For further logo customizations, you can also specify a CSS class for it.
- In the Social Links Options tab you can link to your page on the most popular social networks out there: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Youtube, Viveo, Flickr, Pinterest, Skype and Yahoo. These links will be displayed in one of the 3 bottom positions, bottom-a, b and c, also selectable in this configuration tab.

@Scott
I assure you that the template was tested extensively.
QuoteThis was actually adjusted within the template installation package, but not on the demo.
We have now corrected this within the demo installation as well.
RSJuno
While this certainly looks nice, I like the clean lines, I don't thing this is quite ready for prime time yet. Did you guys test it out on mobile before releasing? The left side of the theme is missing margin and padding.
