RSForm!Pro got even better! Version 1.51.2 is out!

It took us longer than we planned but it's good and packed with new features. You are going to love it! Once again, Thank You all for your feedback and feature suggestions. So let’s talk about what’s different in this version!

What's new?

Well, for starters, something that you have been waiting for for quite some time - New Form Layouts and Style. Besides the existing Responsive layout, RSForm!Pro 1.51.2 got Bootstrap 2.3.2, Bootstrap 3.3.5 and yes, UIKIT 2.22 layouts.

The update process won't mess up your existing layout - old ones are still available for legacy reasons.

Flexibility has always been the key for RSForm!Pro's success and something that we aim with all our extensions - so we took things further and added the possibility to override its standard style definitions through CSS overrides.

New fields and configuration options

RSForm!Pro already incorporated a Calendar field but it was lacking a time selector. We added a new calendar that incorporates this as well.

Out of regular form fields, text boxes are by far the most used ones. This got some attention as well - it now incorporates HTML 5 input types as well: Email address, Phone number and URL.

A long time requested feature was the possibility to organize checkboxes and radio groups in multiple columns. We were caught up in various integrations and other features that we neglected this a little bit. But here it is!

Forms are essential in order to streamline the communication flow and all of the new features we introduced in RSForm!Pro 1.51.2 aim to reduce the time you spend on creating forms. Use it to give your site a sleek professional appearance though beautiful forms.

Improvements and fixes

• The overall layout and style part is the star of the show for the 1.51 update.
• Hidden field containers were taking up space when embedded through regular fields - the new version addresses this and hidden fields are now added at the bottom of the form.
• The administrator interface wasn’t neglected either - it got a facelift as well.

In terms of functionality, you will be glad to hear that we have updated the Excel export as it now generates xlsx files (Excel 2003 and upwards). The standard PDF export is now using TCPDF v6.2.11.

The Mapping feature is great - it helps you save the submitted information on other database tables as well (local or remote). Until now it was somehow limited due to a single database driver that was being used.
