We’ve released the RSEvents! Community Builder plugin that allows you to display on the Community Builder profile, the user created events along with his event subscriptions.
What do you need?
- RSEvents!, at least rev. 21
- Community Builder, at least 1.2.3
- the RSEvents! Community Builder plugin
Step 1- Download the RSEvents! Community Builder plugin
Head to your RSJoomla! account and download the plugin from Resources >> Customer Downloads. You’ll find the CB plugin in your RSEvents! membership >> 3rd Party >> CB plugin.
Step 2 - Install the RSEvents! Community Builder plugin
The plugin installs trough the Community Builder installer, in the Plugin Management area as shown in the below screenshot.
Installation path: Components >> Community Builder >> Plugin Management >> Install new plugin
Step 3 - Publish the plugin
While you are in the Plugin Management tab, make sure you publish the RSEvents! plugin.
Step 4 - Set the plugin position
After installation, the default plugin position on the user profile is “Header (above left/middle/right)", but this can be easily changed in the Community Builder >> “Tab Management” area.
You’ll find multiple options in the "Position" drop-down.
Try them to see which better fits your website design.
We have chosen for this example the “Middle area” position, that publishes the plugin at the end of the Community Builder profile.
