Blog & Mail integration

In RS Blog, I'm looking to collect a bunch of bloggers to write about several topics. I was hoping to have RS Mail look into RS Blog on a weekly (or monthly, or whatever you configure) basis and automatically generate a newsletter and then sends it out a mail to subscribed members for a given newsletter (e.g. a blog/newsletter on Inkscape, GIMP, Scribus) if there is content in the category connected to a newsletter.
I think this would be a very nice feature or extension to RS Blog and/or RS Mail.
