Convert Joomla articles to RS Blog articles

Hi,
I would like to migrate my existing blog in Joomla over to RS Blog... but as far as I can see, it's not possible to convert articles into RS Blog items.
For my test project I only have 25 articles, this I could do manually. For another site, where I'm considering RS Blog! I have over 12.000 articles (written over the last 15 years by a few dozen authors). This would become quite cumbersome to convert by hand.
It would be nice to have the option to convert a content category (or a selection of Joomla articles) into Blog messages...
