Subscribe to 1 event only

I want my users to be able to subscribe to 1 event only. I really think it is strange that this option is not a standard feature.
I use RSEvents for a big event where I offer over 100 different sport events for 4000 students. I want all the 4000 users to be able to choose 1 event.
With the standard features a user is able to subscribe to as much as they want.
