Project Management

I think a lot of people would pay a nice fee, myself include, for a dedicated Project Management System.

I don't think it's a stretch, since it seems RS mainly develops for the developers, and a lot of your extensions are already optimized for a project management system (mail, tickets, events, files, membership).

However, trying to piece so many together to combine a Project Management System, to me, seems risky.

I currently use WorkEtc for my project management solutions, and while it is a good service, I like the idea of incorporating my own within my websites user database.

What I would love to see would be a Project Management system similar to BaseCamp where Clients can be created and projects can be created underneath them.

Within their project you can upload files for them to see proofs that they can comment on. You can tack hours worked via a time ticker. You can create invoices (templates) and then submit them to your clients area. And then they can pay their bill with paypal (integrated into the system).

I know that this is asking a lot, but...I think that if anyone could do it, RS would be the team that I'd most trust for quality work and safety in mind. I'm a "think outside of the box" type of guy, and I know that Joomla is a wonderful community, but sometimes it feels like too many people are trying to re-invent the wheel by one-upping other extensions.

Currently, there is only 1 good project management solution, and it's not even that good. Heck, there is only one good Video Conferencing solution and that's it. I think we need to focus more on expanding the use of Joomla, especially considering how amazing 1.7 is. Thanks guys!
