Editing submissions from frontend would make live much easier both for administrators and publishers

Anything new on this front? Would be an amazing feature.

This has been debated here as well:

Great idea!

I would like to save a not completed form by the user, and then re-open a form from the front-end to finish it. Is it possible to show a list of not-finished forms (not submitted) and then finish it?

This question is for medical forms, which are often filled in partly by the assistant and later, from another computer, are finished by the doctor, and then submitted for further processing (e-mail etc)...

So what I would need is:
- a "partly-submit-button" to (only) save all completed fields, but this does not the same as the usual submit-button...
- At the frontend a list of unfinished forms, so that the doctor can pick a form of patient, edit and finish it...

@Romeo

Unfortunately, we can't provide an estimate on when this will be ready.

Can you give a time estimation for this feature? We'd have exactly this requirement for our project (frontend editing of form submissions).

@Remo

In the current version (revision 43), no, this isn't possible.

Any closer to that solution

It would be awesome to have frontend editing compatibility. even greater if you could download all submissions at once from the frontend for a specific user (after logged in). Is that possible?

We are working on something in that direction.
