Hi,

is it possible to use RSJoomla forms as Order Form (imagine an Insurcance request form)? In specific RSJoomla supports the following features?

A: User can access the form (-s) only when he is logged in Joomla (with his username)

B: The user has access only to forms submitted by him and not in all or in the same group.

C: He can review the status of his order

Hi Vangelis:

Let me make a suggestion about (A) in your list as we've had to do something similar. Yes, you can make a form accessible only to logged in users. The simplest way is to set the menu link to your form to "restricted." That way, only logged in users can see the link to the form. Other visitors never see the link.

If you are worried that a logged in user may pass the URL of the form onto people who shouldn't access the form, the second trick is to embed the form into a normal article. Then set the article to "restricted." As the form is now embedded in a restricted article, it doesn't matter if the URL is passed to an unauthorized person. Only logged in people can access the article.
