Hy there!!

I configure SMTP mail in the Global settings of Joomla! and it works for contact email, but not working for rsform admin-email and user-email. It shows up an error " PHPMAILER_FROM_FAILED( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) "

Please help!! Any idea?!

Thank you...

Hello,

Please double check the emails or field placeholders that you are using in the "To" and "From" fields of the "User/Admin emails" tabs.

haha I'm have the same error "PHPMAILER_FROM_FAILED(email address) but it still submits the form, because when i was testing it the client was saying that they were receiving the emails but still seeing that error, maybe its a bug?

Hi:

Are you using multiple placeholders in the To:, From: or CC: fields? One thing that I discovered is that placing a blank between the placeholders (e.g., [MyEmail: value], [YourEmail: value])will result in a send error. If you've done this, try removing the blank (e.g., [MyEmail: value],[YourEmail: value]).
