TOPIC: Select file to send as attachment to user email

Select file to send as attachment to user email 13 years 8 months ago #14386

I am trying to build a form that has a dropdown list of files names. The user enters their email address, picks a file from the dropdown list, and that file is automatically attached to the useremail and sent to the user.

I read a suggestion to enter the dropdown values like this:

fileA.pdf|File A
fileB.pdf|File B

then then put the dropdown placeholder in the user email "location of file to be attached" field, along with the path to the file.

I have not been able to make this work. Any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks,

Sarah
