TOPIC: Choose files from predefined folder?

Choose files from predefined folder? 13 years 2 months ago #16234

Hi,

I don't know if this is possible at all, but here is the problem:
I have a list of standard images that people can choose for a background for printed tiles. All these images are in a folder on my site. Is it possible to let the people choose a file from that folder in a form? A bit like the upload function but then only from a predefined folder on my site.

I could make a dropdown list, or something like that, but there are more than 90 images so that would be a bit long. And they wouldn't have a preview from the image.

Does anyone know a good solution for this?

You can refer to the following article to get a basic idea on how this can be implemented:

Thanks for the link, I think I'm going to use that solution. Have done some searching for other ways but that involves a lot of programming and knowledge. So for now, this works :).
