TOPIC: line spacing css

I realise that this probably isn't the ideal place to ask this question - but I'm developing a form here and I can't figure out how to get better spacing on the lines - they don't seen to obey any changes I add (in Firebug) such as line-height: 2em

can someone take a quick look?
