TOPIC: Bots getting past CAPTCHA

I have a number of forms on my site, all using RS Forms Pro. Lately, bots seem to be able to get past my forms' captchas... I'm using the FreeType, and when I as a human enter a wrong captcha, I cannot submit the form.

So why could a bot?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Any update on this, pls?

I have the same issue, submitted a ticket, received generic advice, no use.
Still having more and more spam and they use
X-Mailer: PHPMailer 5.2 (code.google.com/a/apache-extras.org/p/phpmailer/)
instead of the
X-Mailer: PHPMailer [version 1.73]

Needs to be resolved asap.
