So we have noticed for a few versions now that IE8,9 have an issue when interfacing with the built in captcha option. When you type in the code correctly, it will fail. It then auto refreshes and the new code will fail as well when you type it in. However, if you manually hit refresh, then the code works and you can submit the form data. I am currently using 1.4.0. I tried switching to recaptcha... but honestly the text is fairly unreadable 90 percent of the time for me and the audio hints might as well be Turkish as it sounds like two tracks laid on top of each other. No offense to those who speak Turkish. Has anyone else seen the issue I am seeing?

Hello,

This could be caused by a plugin or module that is loaded on your page that performs an additional refresh after the form is loaded. This will cause the CAPTCHA image to no longer be valid. When you manually click the refresh link the image will be updated by the component without the extra refresh so the code will be valid. You could try identifying the plugin or module that is causing this by temporarily disabling them, testing the functionality of the CAPTCHA field and enabling them one at a time until the functionality is affected.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did disable plugins that present themselves in that view to test. The first time I ran the page it appeared to work. The second time I ran the page it continued to say that I entered an invalid code. It is a bit confusing to say the least, especially the inconsistency.
