I would like to remove the required field indicator "(*)". I try setting the field empty in the Form Info but the asterisk still shows. How can I do it?

Thanks

If you delete the contents of "Required Fields Will Be Marked With" (found in Properties > Form Info) the (*) marker will not be shown (given that you are using Auto Generate layout and not a custom layout; if you have a custom layout you'll need to delete them manually just like Wilco said).
