TOPIC: url validation issue

My site requests users to fill in valid URLs.

However, when they do, I get an error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /residency/residency-application on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

So, if I turn off url validation, and my user enters a url with http:// I get the same error.

I'm on a joomla 1.5 site, with the latest version of rsforms (not sure what it is, downloaded it yesterday.)

Hello,

That sounds like a security feature on your server (most likely modSecurity) blocking the request. Please contact your hosting provider and let them know, they most likely will be able to create an exception for your website so that this protection won't get triggered.
