This is just NOTICE to all of you having problem when printing PDF from directories (submission) view in forntend. This functionality is great and requires RSForm!Pro PDF plugin if you want to use dompdf. Also, you have to install additional fonts such as DejaVu. RSJoomla! provides it too, but they need to add extra few lines of text on how to use it!
You'll get FONTS in PDF tab of Configuration option for RSForm! Pro, but selecting it (DejaVu) won't have any effect to resulting pdf document. What you MUST do is:

Remove line
font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
of .rsform-table class
from file
\components\com_rsform\assets\css\directory.css

This is because dompdf treats this css property as God! No default config file nor RS overrides file for dompdf configuration parameters can disannul it's value. Once you do this, you'll get your PDF with sweet utf-8 characters of whatever kind you want.
I hope I helped someone with this, I know I was wondering for a while what's going on.
Cheers!

Although the default font can handle most of UTF-8 Characters, it seems that there are some problems with certain characters (Cyrillic for example).

Thank you for this solution, our dev team will investigate this issue further.
