TOPIC: Md5 encryption on the password.

Md5 encryption on the password. 9 years 6 months ago #32656

Helo,
i am asking for your help guys.

I made my form and mapped all the fields. everything works fine, but... RSForm saves the passwords in the database without md5 encryption, but Joomla reads only md5 encryption and the user is unable to log in.

Can you help me with solution. Is there any way /code/ to make RSForm saves passwords with md5 encryption?

Thank you!

Are you actually trying to create a user account via RSForm!Pro ? If this is the case, why not use the RSForm!Pro Registration plugin ?

Hello, I am using Joomla registration plug, but it limits my needs. Is there any way to make a radio button choose what status registered user will be – Registered or Super user? I made this type of button and i Post the values in the database, but Registration plug overrides it.

Thank you very much! Now everythings ok. I've searched a few days, but i didn't see this.

Can you tell me one more thing. I want to have an extra text field which data should merge with the field "Name" of the registration form. Field "Name" from joomla registration plug should combine with this field let's name it "Refferal". After registratioan in the field name in joomla database should be "Name" + "refferal". I hope you understand.
