I am getting lots of form submissions from This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Is there a simple way to block anyone sending a form with that domain?

Hello,

The best method of preventing spam submissions is using the reCAPTCHA plugins available for the component or even the built-in CAPTCHA field, you can read more about these here:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/r...aptcha-antispam.html

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/r...ptcha-anti-spam.html

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/r...ecaptcha-plugin.html

Another possible solution is applying a custom script that will perform a validation for the email field in the `PHP Scripts` > `Scripts called on form process` section and use the $invalid variable in order to trigger a validation error if your specified domain is used. More information on this topic is found here:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/r...ted/php-scripts.html

I just realized that the sample forms that come with RSForms were being targeted by spammers (mostly from russia it seems) even though they were not accessible from a menu item or in a module on any page. These sample forms had no reCaptcha field.

I have unpublished the form and am hoping that this brings the russian spam revolution to an end.

As an update, as soon as I unpublished the sample forms, the spam stopped. I suggest that on install of RSForms that the sample forms are set to an unpublished state.
