TOPIC: Problem with "http" or "https" in textfield

Problem with "http" or "https" in textfield 8 months 2 weeks ago #43582

Hello,
We would like to allow an URL to be sent from a form (textfield) but It doesn't work if "http://" or "https://" appears in the address.
If we remove this, there are no more problem.

I've tried with textfield Validations - Validation Rule - Valid URL but it's not working; and I tried deactivating the filters for visitors and gust in Joomla's administration, but the problem is still the same.

Would you have an idea?
It looks like a content filter but I don't know which one.

Hello,

The Valid URL validation rule should allow http:// or https://, can you provide an URL to your form? If this is not public, please submit a support ticket here.

Hello,

Please create a simple test form with a field having this Valid URL validation enabled, and provide its URL.

I've just created a basic form as requested and it's working fine...
So what should I check about the other form?

I might have an idea...
My original form had separators.
I duplicated this form and removed these separators on a new form.
When I don't put a URL, the form can be validated.
If I put a URL with https:// or http:// at the time of validation, I get a 403 error.

I think it's linked to this form because it works with another one.
But what should I check in this form?

We have RSFirewall on this website and I read on the forum that it could cause this kind of problem. So I've deactivated it and cleared the cache (as I do every time we do a test) but the problem is still there.

URL for this form : xxxx

Please make sure that your domain is registered to an active RSForm!Pro subscription then submit a support ticket so we can have a closer look at your form, as I'm not sure in which field I should type the URL.
