Hi-

I have created a form that maps to a db table. However, there is no way to customize that SQL statement in the mapping section so that it updates if the record already exists, instead of inserting. Is there any way to avoid the insert if the record needs to be updated instead or do I have to create a different form for updating purposes.

Or should I just create my own SQL statement and forget mapping completely?

I'm interested too by the possible replies to this question. Indeed, it would be interesting to be able to update a form by using the same layout used for its first submission. At the moment, the unique way I have fund is by passing from the menu type "Submissions - Directory". However, all my conditional fields are published while I would want those to reflect all the settings I have made previously.

Does anyone has found a solution for that?

Use same form to insert and update records? 4 months 1 week ago #43765

I am having the same question.

From my side, I have set many conditional fields. While submitting a first record, I can crearly fill my fields based on what I need. Then I would like to edit/update the record but I can do it only from the menu item "Submissions - Directory". When I go there, all my conditional fields are visible despite the condition is not met.

So, I am looking for a way to be able to edit or update a record in the same way I have submitted the first time.

Is there someone who has found a way to make it happen?

Thank you in advance!
G
