TOPIC: Must submit form twice before I get the THANK YOU

Must submit form twice before I get the THANK YOU 16 years 2 weeks ago #6938

I have 2 forms I have created and they each use CAPTCHA and drop down menus to select specific names. I also have a security question set up on each form. When a user clicks SUBMIT the page refreshes and you have to put the stuff in all over. On the second time you complete the form and click SUBMIT I get the thank you page and an email confirmation. Does anyone have any idea why I have to do this twice?

I have this problem too and it seems there are other posts here reporting the same problem. Possibly something to do with captcha or sessions?? I know for my site it's intermittent and doesn't happen 100% of the time. It just did it for me when I wasn't logged in. As soon as I logged in, it was fine again.

It's suggesting to turn mod_rewrite to no. Which I think worked for me but a) added index.php into all my links and b) I have some other programs that required mod_rewrite to be set to yes.

Hello,

Try disabling the cache (both system and global), also empty. And see if the problem persists.

Let me know!

Regards!
