TOPIC: Create A Dynamic Dropdown

Create A Dynamic Dropdown 16 years 3 weeks ago #6966

Hi All,

I have been working with RSFormPro all day and I cannot figure this one out:

I wanted to create the following form:

Drop-down 1: business cards, posters

Now, depending on which of the 2 options the user chooses, a second drop-down is populated as such:

If business cards are chosen, then the following appear: size1, size1
If posters is chosen, then the following appear: postersize1, postersize2

How can I create such a form?? Havn't found the answer in the forum yet. I cannot seem to figure this one out!

Thank you in advance!!!

Hi

Try this:

joomla-form.com/form-examples/form-scrip...-change-form-example

The online demo is not working, but you can download the sample to review.

Did anyone happen to work this out?
The example provided on that site, doesn't actually work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sample form is great! I would like to be able to select (dropdown manufacturer) from a table (in other words - not hard coded as is the case here) and then let the second dropdown limit its selection from the first dropdown but select the model from a table.
This would make the form truly dynamic and solve my problem.
Thanks in advance.
