i just want to say that the mapping plugin is an awesome direction to go regarding future developing.

I am sure you know CCK's like Zoo, joomsuite resources or k2. with a future development of that mapping plugin you can leave them all behind. lot of cck's like zoo do not even use the core categories / content structure.

with your plugin it can be done to create a form and let the content be included into an article. if you could make that more userfriendly and without the need of hardcoding (f.e. if we want to include 3 formfields into the core content database fulltext)rsform will become far more than a formextension with a lot lot of new customers.

About cck. The whole point of zoo cck is not to use Joomla's categories and sections. That is the whole point. That is the one flaw Joomla has. In Drupal you just create a node (page) and you can place it anywhere. You do not have to limit it to a section, and category.

at the moment we rely on this structure.

and by using core structure we can use all the modules / plugins and components available for joomla.

for zoo you need to create this all indivdually. this is
ridiculous. it does not even has a "submit content" from
frontpage nor any other flexibility.

i tried Zoo and i have to say it is completely crap.
joomsuite ressources is far more advanced if someone
wants to go this way.
