TOPIC: Making a copy of form; no components showup

Making a copy of form; no components showup 15 years 9 months ago #7846

When I make a copy of an existing form, no components are copied to the new form. All other info like user emails and admin emails and scripts are copied, but no components. Suggestions?

The exact same thing happens to me also! :(

The only work around I know of is copying components from one form to another but that's lame because it copies the fields with "copy" on its name and it's a pain to edit each one to a proper name. :S

I think this bug has something to do with versions upgrading. When I licensed RSForm to Pro it did an auto update from the site and that was when I lost the functionality of even making a simple copy of a form. The copy just wouldn't appear on the manage forms listing.

I uninstalled the component, reinstall it and licensed it again. This time it allowed me to copy the form, but still... no components came on the copied form.

Hope to hear from you soon about this issue.

Nevertheless, it's one of the great (if not the best) components out there to make forms in J!

Thank you

Hi,

I'm using the most current version.

Any other suggestions? Could I generate a backup then import it again?

Thanks.

Hello,

Please try a manual uninstall of RSForm! Pro. Here is a link to the documentation on how you can do this:

www.rsjoomla.com/customer-support/docume...ling-rsform-pro.html

After that try reinstalling RSForm! Pro. Do not forget to backup your forms.

Regards!
