I have designed a new form (using RSform!Pro v 1.2.0) and accordingly created a menu item for it (Joomla v 1.5.10)

The form is working just fine when I have the menu with the form in it published:
www.companyname.com/index.php?option=com_rsform&Itemid=34

I however don't want the form to be directly accessible from my website. I only want to use the hyperlink of the menu with the form in it for e-mailings, which means the form is only accessible through an e-mail by clicking the hyperlink and not directly from my website.

For this, I have unpublished the menu-item. However when i now use the hyperlink above I don't get the form but get the message 'No formId'. I tried to add the formId (=5) in the hyperlink, but I didn t find the correct notation.

Can some one help me out here?

Thanks a lot!

Hi!

It's no problems to do this. In Jooma backend just go to Components/RSJoomla Pro and Manage forms and Preview. Click at your forms (published) link and copy the link to that page and paste it in your email.

You do not need a menu-item at all in this case.

Thanks Matt. Works just fine.
Pretty obvious to do it like this, but didn't think about it for a single minute.
