Hello,

I am currently developing an intranet using WAMP on my pc, and I will soon be installing it on the new server my company just ordered. I wanted to tryout RSForums, before purchasing it. I liked the concept, and look of it. I only have a few a questions/problems. I have read over the forums and found that some people were having similar problems, but there fixes did not help me =/

When I submit the form I do not receive the email in my inbox. It stores the data on the backend, but I am not getting the emails. The From / To are two different email accounts.

My other question is; Is there a way to save the same form multiple times, just change the email address that the submission goes to. Plus have it setup by category's. For example: I am making forms to request days off, and its the same form just goes to different people by there department. I want to be able to click on the link that says \"Request Time Off\" and then have the page display \"Dept. 1 - Click Here, Dept. 2 - Click Here,... etc.\"

I really would appreciate any help at all this tool seems to be almost exactly what I am looking for.

One other error I have is the calendar. It will not let me select days, such as clicking on one day then another like if you were taking a week off it would be \"December 5 - December 8\" just click on the two dates on the calendar.

Once again any help is much appreciated!

Hello Dalbeck,

please make sure that Email text and Email subject are not empty. That often happens, and the message won't be sent if they're empty. Also, make sure your sendmail program is working by creating a new user. An email should be sent to it's account with the welcome notice.

About the second issue, you could do this: create a new selectbox, with the departments. fieldid=dept lets say, and in the default value add:

dept1@myemail.com|Dept 1,dept2@myemail.com|Dept 2,dept3@myemail.com|Dept 3

Then, in the Email form data to, add {dept}. This way, the e-mail goes to dept1, dept 2 or dept3 based on the user's selection.

I see your point about the calendar. The calendar item is for selecting one day only. I will take into account your problem, but i would suggest using 2 calendar fields: begin-end.
