I saw this comment in the FAQ's

My Captcha image is not working

If your captcha image is not being displayed, mostly will mean that you either have the Php GD libraries(graphic libraries) disabled, or your session variables are not initialized properly. Please ask your hosting provider to enable GD libraries.

Since this is the issue with my installation in Joomla 1.5.1, I contacted my host - GoDaddy - and they said I should create my own php.ini to turn on the GD library. Does anyone know the code I should use?

Hey, I followed the advice on www.dmcinsights.com/phpmysql/phpini.php and uploaded a
phpinfo.php script to my server. It says that GD support is enabled. That makes me wonder why the captcha graphics aren't showing up.

As soon as anyone has an answer to this, I'd love to find out. I really need this component for my site, but without the security, I think I'd be setting myself up for spam.
