The Active scanner is apparently turned on; in "Firewall Configuration" the switch for Firewall Active Scanner is on.

But in System Overview, there is a pink bar with a message "RSFirewall! Active
Scanner-- Warning, The RSFirewall! System Plugin has been disabled. You will not be protected".

But there is no "plugin" to be downloaded from RSJoomla, just the COM and MOD and language files.

Both the COM and MOD files have been installed and are active.

So, how can I resolve this?

Hello,

The RSFirewall! System Plug-in is automatically installed when installing the component. It can be found in the Plugin Manager section of your site and you can enable it from there. Please note that with the plug-in disabled, most of the features from RSFirewall! will not function and your site will not be protected by the component.

I am getting the same error and also there are no system plugins to do with RSFirewall in the Plugin Manager either.

How can I manually install this plugin?

I do see the 2 files in the folder /public_html/plugins/system

rsfirewall.php
rsfirewall.xml

but the warning remains.

Thanking for your help in advance
Jay

I am facing the exact same issue
My joomla version is 1.7
RSJoomla version is RSFirewall! 1.0.0 rev 33

Though the System - RSFirewall! Active Scanner is active, it still gives me a message
"Warning! The RSFirewall! System Plugin has been disabled. You will not be protected."
