rsfirewall not recognizing my php.ini 14 years 1 month ago #13067

I have a site that is using RSFirewall and one of the items it is stateing is that the php.ini is not working but when I remove phpinfo from the php.ini and look at the phpinfo it shows everything off like it's requesting.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hello,

Actually it is not RSFirewall!'s job to recognize the php.ini file. The php.ini file is applied by your PHP server. You can read more about this:

sometimes u gotta add a line to yur htaccess like so
SuPHP_ConfigPath /home/username/public_html/your_joomla_site/php.ini


this is only good if your hosts supports custom php.ini
