Hi,

If there is an unsuccessful attempt to login to the backend of the site the alert email is delayed in being sent to my by several hours. I assume this might have something to do with time settings but not sure where to fix this.

My host server is in the US and I am located in Australia. Any thoughts please?

Hello,

Note that RSFirewall! is using the default Joomla! mail settings from Global Configuration > Server in order to send emails which are in their turn released by your server. Please try creating a new Joomla! user on your site, when doing so an automated email will be sent and if the same delay is encountered...then it would be best to contact your hosting provider regarding this issue as this is not generated by RSFirewall!.
