Is there a way that if the password is entered more than three times incorrectly the ip is added the the black list and the attacker then just gets a 500 page.

I think this is a valuable add-on if it is not there, as we tend to get like 100 emails when someone is trying to brute force their way in. This way we would just get three and then be able to check the ip and then decide what to do.

I think this would be a great addition. My sites are always getting attacked. It would be good if we could set the number of unsuccessful attacks then automatically added to blacklist.
