We are getting a lot of attempts to enter our site from an international IP address, and they are the same IP range. The only thing that varies is the last value.

Can you blacklist an IP address with a wildcard?

eg. 123.456.78.*

So that all IPs with 123.456.78 in the first three values get blocked.

There is no reason that this country will need toacces our site (it's aimed at national interests.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Love love LOVE the RSFirewall component for both Joomla 1.5 and 2.5!!!

I agree, this would be a very useful feature. There are attempts most days from around 3 countries to login to our back end. This feature would enhance considerably the products usability.

The wildcard feature does work! I tried it in my version RSFirewall! 1.0.0 rev 39

in the Blacklist tab of Firewall Configuration enter in the boxes something like

212 * * * and then press add

You will see the wildcard added below. It does Work ;)
