Recently, my log file on multiple websites has been showing attempted admin login attacks with the IP address being logged but each IP address is different, and it is an invalid format. For example:
1.0 Servidor-WEB
1.1 122.144.6.13
1.0 squid-301.hn
1.0 Servidor-WEB
The above is what's been logged. Obviously the attacker is spoofing his/her IP address.
Not sure what you can do about this if anything? But I am seeing it more and more each month and I suspect it will only get worse.
Any thoughts?
