TOPIC: Using exceptions to allow certain urls

Using exceptions to allow certain urls 11 years 11 months ago #22751

Hi

Can you clarify how I would use the url exception option please?

I have a form of url which varies but always contains utm_source=specific_url. This is being flagged as a file insertion and being blocked. I want to allow this, but the content before and after this in the complete url will vary. I assume therefore I use regular expressions rather than not, because I can't specify the full url.

In the help text it talks about using regular expressions and gives an example of utm_source=(.*?).

I'm not sure how I construct a regular expression for my scenario. Can you clarify please?
