Hello,

We have been using this great component for years and recently we have encountered with a very strange error when connecting to our website from big services like Google or Facebook to use our web's functionalities:

First, Google AdWords staff told us we had a 403 error when we tried to set up an ad... The page was working well, sowe insisted and they said itwas strange but that they could see the webpage too...

Then, our Facebook Social app started throwing an "invalid link" error: we used their debugger (developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object) and got a 403 error

Finally, we found a quicker/better debugger: www.webconfs.com/http-header-check.php and discovered that, when desabling the "System - RSFirewall! Active Scanner", the 403 error stopped, and we got a 200 ok status.

The Facebook debugger did not change though... It still shows a 403, I guess because of their cache or something..

We are still using rev 43.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Thank you in advance! :cheer:

Hello,

1. You are using an outdated RSFirewall! revision. Download RSFirewall! again from our site and run it over your current one, this will act as an update ensuring you are using the latest revision.

2. With RSFirewall! you can manage / create exceptions. You can try setting an exception for the Facebook social application and Google AdWords as explained here:
