Hi,

Is it possible to reset the number of failed login attempts after a successful login?

Now it just adds up. So if a user mistypes his password an number of times over a period of a few months, he's still put on the blacklist. Even if he logged in successfully many times in the same period.
It's not possible to use the whitelist because most users have a dynamic IP address.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
