Hi
I would like to change the format of the ticket list by adding one of my custom fields from a ticket to be displayed. Is this possible? How?

Note that custom fields are actually defined for departments, thus one department can have a field and another department not.

I'm sorry, I didn't state my wish properly. On the ticket list (not during submit ticket or on the detailed display of an individual ticket), if the default list looks like:

Date Ticket Code Subject Customer .....

I would like to modify it to look like:

Date Ticket Code Subject XXXXXX Customer

where XXXXX is the name of a custom field and each line for the ticket would include the ticket's value of the custom field under the header.

This can be achieved but it will require quite a bit of source code modifications. Modifying the source code is not recommended since all changes will be lost when an update is performed.

I really need this capability in the short term so am willing to run the risk of losing the code on an upgrade. Could you therefore indicate what would be necessary to do this?

I am looking for the exact same feature as we need to be able to sort by company/agency name (which is a custom field). Also, custom fields are not searchable so it is impossible to search for an agency by name.:unsure: --- Having custom fields available on the sort screen would be wonderful. OR if there is a way to make custom fields searchable that would also be great!

I am looking for the exact same thing as this is really important request by our support team. If this can be done would love to know how. OR please add this ability in future releases as of now the custom field feature seems very disconnected from the support form. Custom fields are not even searchable which is another bummer! :(
