TOPIC: Disable functions..

Disable functions.. 11 years 8 months ago #24602

Hello,

For the agenda of a fitnessclub I use RS events. Now there are a lot of functions that I will never use. Is there a way that I can disable them globally??? I don't need ranking, location, submitter etc. Just a title, date and description is good enough. Now I can disable that per event. But is it possible to disable it globally so I don't need to do that anymore all the time? Right now there are about 300 events already in my agenda and it would be so much easier and a big timesaver to disable stuff globally.

other option is to change the template so they won't show anymore ofcourse.. but i'd rather have a option to disable.

Starting with RSEvents!Pro revision 5, we have added the possibility to set this up per user group, in the same manner as the 'Frontend' tab is being configured per event.

What you need to to is upgrade the component to the latest revision, head to Components >> RSEvents!Pro >> Groups >> edit a group >> Event options and select which fields you want to have displayed in the frontend for users that belong to the group you are editing.

Hi.. I updated and saw the option. But somehow it's not working as it's supposed to work.
I want to disable social media sharing but even though I did in the group settings they still show.
In fact.. none of the available settings are working.
Any idea why that is?
