TOPIC: recurring event, select just one

recurring event, select just one 11 years 4 months ago #25640

greetings

I am building a subscription site for a obligatory annual training. There will be four instances of the same training, but users have to attend just one.

A recurring event: no problem. But what i would like to achieve: once a user has registered for one specific training, he must not be able to subscribe to one of the three other instances.

E. g. the training takes place in januari, may, august and november. A user subscribes for the training in august. Thereafter, he must not be able to subscribe to the training in january, may and november.

Can this be done with RS Events pro?

Hello,

There are currently no built-in features that will allow you to achieve such a described scenario. You can try implementing this through template overrides, the procedure is explained here:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...s-look-and-feel.html

The file you can perform template override is located under this path:

\components\com_rseventspro\views\rseventspro\tmpl\show.php

You could change the clause to which the Join button appears, this code is located under:
