TOPIC: How to add name of day to date format?

How to add name of day to date format? 11 years 2 months ago #26351

Hi
Could someone tell me how to add the day to an event on the event list page
In Settings - General
I can adjust the date format
Currently I have it as
F d, Y
Which displays as February 01 2014

I would like this to display as:

Saturday February 01 2014
or better still the shortened versions as in Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues Wed Thurs Fri which is commonly used in the UK

Thanks so much

Andrew

To get a result similar to "Saturday February 01 2014", head to Components >> RSEvents!Pro >> Settings >> General and add the following:

l F d, Y

in the "Date" field.

To get something similar to "Sat February 01 2014", under the same path, add:

D F d, Y

instead.

Note that you need to (and can) edit the "Date" and "Time" dropdowns manually, just by clicking within them.

You can read more on configuring date formats here:

php.net/manual/en/function.date.php
