TOPIC: two emails sent to subsribers

two emails sent to subsribers 11 years 3 weeks ago #26994

I've been struggling with this question for a while now.

I am using RSEvents!Pro and RSForm for the registration of events. Whenever someone registers on an event, two emails are sent to them, one from RSForm and one from RSEvents, how could I stop the email from RSForm and just send them RSEvents registration email?
I have the same problem with RSMembership and Joomla email system. Whenever someone registers as a member on our site two emails are sent, one from RSmembership and one from Joomla with the same information. How am I supposed to stop these double emails?

I have a similar problem. Whenever a subscriber registers for an event, the subscriber gets a registration email and the owner of the event also gets a copy of the registration email even though " Notify the owner on new subscriptions" is not checked. Very frustrating.

The mails from RS Events!Pro are separate from the ones generated by RS Form!Pro. Please make sure in User Emails/Admin Emails the To and From fields are left blank (Components > RSForm!Pro > Manage Forms > Specific Form > Properties > Emails section).

For an easier way to fix this, update to the newest version. Below you will find detailed information about the new update
The RSForm!Pro - RSEvents!Pro plugin was now updated to include the possibility to override the Registration, Activation, Unsubscribe, Denied Subscription, New Event Subscription Notification RSEvents!Pro emails and the Ticket PDF from within RSForm!Pro, allowing the inclusion of placeholders specific to both components in their text.

The changelog can be found

Sorry to bring this up again, but I have exactly the same problem, just the other way around:

I want to deactivate the RSEvents-Email instead of the RSForm-Email. At the moment, the admin User gets the RSForms Email correctly, but also this ugly Email:

Hello ***,

a new subscription to your event ****** has been made.

Subscriber info:

Date: 20.05.2016 15:05
Username:
Name: *****
Email: ********
IP: 46.140.122.130
Payment related info (if available):

Gateway:
Tickets:
Total:
Discount:

There is no turning off switcher in the RSE-Settings for this Email type. Any ideas?

Thanks & regards!
