Is there a way to set a 'default page' which users will be redirected to if an event has expired or been unpublished?

Google Webmaster Tools is showing several 404 errors on my site and a lot of these are from incoming links which point at old events which have been unpublished.
Would it be possible to automatically redirect all of these incoming links to my main 'event search' page, rather than my 404 page?

Well, this is normal, as with the case with any published (and then unpublished) content. You actually have two options (that don't really relate to RSvents!Pro):

- instead of unpublishing the event, you can consider archiving it. Links should still work, but registration won't be possible anymore of course.

- handle the actual 404 error via redirects. Joomla! itself does provide a redirect functionality.
