TOPIC: Showing events category name in php

Hi!
I'm trying to write my own template for the upcoming events module in a default.php file. I'm almost there, but I'd like to show the listed event category. $details almost works, except the I'd like only the text to be displayed and not a link to a filterpage. Anybody who can help me?
