Hi,

I'm relatively new to Joomla and RSEvents but I have a few problems that I have been tasked with solving.

with that in mind, is any one able to help me. Is RSEvents + Forms Pro capable of delivering the following
  • Multiple Event registrations: Allow an individual to register for multiple courses in a single transaction (i.e, add events to a shopping basket or save courses and register for all)
  • Conditional Registration criteria: Set acceptance criteria on the event and only allow automated registration if the individual meets that criteria (most often this is either age or address)
  • Registration Approvals: If an individual doesn't meet the automatic registration criteria, their application can be reviewed and their registration accepted by a member of staff
  • Manage Attendance/On Site Registration: As these events are educational courses, the Tutor should be able to log in and update a students attendance at an event.
  • Register for more than one events over time using saved details from previous registrations
  • Add custom fields to the event detail page

I would be most greatful for any advice the community can provide

Thanks in advance for your help

Ben

I will try answering your questions one at a time.

  • a. Unfortunately, this is not available. You can't register to multiple events in only one transaction. Subscribing to an event can be done only by clicking the Join button on the event page.
  • b. RSForm!Pro extends the RSEvents!Pro registration form functionality, allowing you to create your own custom scripts/validation as per what your scenario dictates. Please note that there is no built-in option for this scenario, however due to RSForm!Pro's flexible nature, you can achieve it with ease.
  • c. This functionality is not available in the current version of RSEvents!Pro. Basically, you need to use Moderation only on certain subscribers - unfortunately, you can configure moderation, but it will be global, you will have to moderate manually all your subscriptions.
  • d. RSEvents!Pro allows you to add subscribers manually from the backend.
  • e. Although you can purchase more than 1 ticket at a time (depending on the event configuration), this does not imply the creation of (e.g.) 3 subscriptions. It will create only 1 subscription with 3 tickets. You can't register on behalf of other users.
  • f. You can use the custom scripting areas of RSForm!Pro to achieve this scenario, most likely something like this will have to be applied:
  • g. There is no option to add custom fields to the detail page, this would require source code modifications, which we do not recommend. As a workaround, you can use the event Description to add the information.

You can find out more on RSEvents!Pro and RSForm!Pro by checking out the documentation:
www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...170-rseventspro.html
www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...e/21-rsform-pro.html

and testing them on the demo:

events.rsjoomla.com/

Can you add multiple members at the same time, or one by one?
Can a content/event manager of the site manage subscribers form the front-end?

You can add event subscribers one by one.

By default, administrators and event owners can manage the subscribers from the frontend area.
